Student Activities: Welcome!
We strive to provide students with opportunities to learn outside the classroom. We invite you to explore our website to learn more about our various opportunities such as Orientation, Ohana, Junior Parents and Families Weekend, Multicultural Programs, the Diversity Committee, Student Media, Campus Program Board, Student Government, Clubs and Organizations, and more.
Mission Statement
In support of the University mission of Teaching, Faith, and Service, the Office of Student Activities exists to serve students and facilitate student success. By providing a dynamic environment, we respond to diverse needs. We create opportunities for student leadership, advanced citizenship, and life-long learning. We promote a complex understanding of the dignity of human diversity. Through active mentorship, we model a holistic approach to continuous personal development.

Pilot Express: Airport and Train Station Shuttle
The Associated Students of the University of Portland (ASUP) provide a shuttle to the airport and train station before and after academic breaks (Fall, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Spring, and Easter). To learn more about this service and when it runs, please visit the Pilot Express webpage.
Orientation Program
The Orientation Program has valuable information for first-year students and their parents. It includes a detailed schedule of Orientation weekend and an important check list for first year students. View a copy of the August 2009 Orientation Program.
All Fall 2009 Orientation Assistant positions are filled. The hiring process for Fall 2010 will begin in the Spring semester 2010. *On Mondays during breaks the office closes from 10:00am to 12:00pm for a weekly staff meeting.
