Student Activities: Club Benefits and Responsibilities
Benefits:
- A mail box in the ASUP Office to receive on and off campus mail
- Use of our mailing address
- The opportunity to set up a club email alias and a PilotsUP group.
- Access to ASUP budget process
- Ability to raise funds and collect dues to add to a separate money account (fundraisers must be pre-approved by the Office of Student Activities)
- Access event and meeting space, reservations must be done through your Advisor via the Event Management System (EMS)
- Access to table times in the Pilot House and Commons (must be reserved through the Office of Student Activities)
- The ability to post announcements to Pilots.up.edu through the Office of Student Activities
- The ability to post pre-approved promotional fliers around campus on bulletin boards (approved through the Office of Student Activities)
- Access to ADvantage for advertising events
- The opportunity to have a table at the annual Activities Fair
- Liability protection
- Listing and brief club description on the Student Activities website
- Listing on information distributed to incoming students
- Staff member advising and assistance
- Potential ability to print shirts with UP name on the shirt (design must be approved by the Office of Student Activities)
- The opportunity to collaborate with our office and other clubs on campus

- Representation at weekly Facilities & Events meetings for room set-ups (per request)
Responsibilities:
- Meet with the Office of Student Activities Staff once each semester
- Complete club recognition paperwork for each academic year during Spring semester
- Consistently notify the Office of Student Activities about club leadership changes (including President, Treasurer, and Advisor)
- Inform the Office of Student Activities about any events or activities conducted by the club
