Student Activities: Multicultural Programs
The University celebrates cultural differences among students and values multicultural programs that enrich the educational experience for all students. The Division of Student Services promotes programs that encourage the sharing of different cultural traditions and values.
Multicultural Programs Services
Services for Multicultural Programs include:
- planning multicultural programs and initiatives for the campus;
- overseeing the planning of our annual Diversity Dialogues program;
- co-advising the Dia de los Muertos Committee;
- advising student diversity coordinators;
- developing Ohana, the pre-orientation program for first-year multicultural students;
- developing UP Connections, a peer mentorship program for first-year multicultural students;
- supporting efforts of multicultural student clubs.
