The University celebrates the cultural and diverse differences among students and values programs that enrich the educational experience for all students. The Division of Student Services promotes programs that encourage the sharing of different cultural traditions and values.
Services for Diversity & Multicultural Programs include:
planning diversity and multicultural programs for the campus;
overseeing the planning of our annual Diversity Dialogues program;
co-advising the Día de los Muertos Committee;
advising student diversity coordinators;
coordinating Ohana, the pre-orientation program for first-year multicultural students;
advising UP Connections, a peer mentorship program for first-year multicultural students;
advising the Ohana/UP Connections Coordinator and Leaders;
supporting efforts of multicultural student clubs.
