These are the experiences the
University of Portland offers to its most gifted students through the
Honors Program. Limited to 30 incoming freshman each year, the program includes honors "core" courses, focused honors work in each student's major, along with special emphasis on study abroad, research, service opportunities, and more.
Incoming honors students typically have high school GPAs of 3.8 and SAT scores of 1300, though ambitious students with similar qualifications are invited to apply.
