How to Schedule a Class/Overnight Visit
Please contact the Office of Admissions 2-3 weeks prior to your arrival. Our student ambassadors put together a comprehensive visit based on your needs, therefore adequate time to contact professors and hosts is needed for an enjoyable stay.

Class Visit (2012-2013)
University of Portland professors welcome prospective students to their classes. You may request a specific area of study or choose to attend a typical freshman course. Class visits are offered Monday-Friday beginning September 10 through November 30, 2012, and again from January 21 through April 19, 2013. (Class visits are not available during summer months, May-August).

Overnight Visit (2012-2013)
Experience what it is like to live on campus by staying overnight in one of our residence halls. Student-hosts share their rooms with you, take you to their classes and introduce you to their friends. This program is available Monday-Thursday during the academic school year and is limited to high school seniors. You may schedule overnight visits between September 10 through November 29, 2012, and again January 21 through April 18, 2013. (Overnight visits are not available during summer months, May-August).

For students staying overnight, please bring a sleeping bag, pillow, and any other personal items you might need. The University provides your meals at no cost.

Once you arrive to campus, please check in for both class and overnight visits in the Office of Admissions on the 2nd Floor of Waldschmidt Hall (see Maps/Directions).
