On the National Alumni Day of Service, Pilots and their families and friends across the country donate time and energy to various charitable causes. National Alumni Board representatives throughout the nation organize different volunteer activities, from sorting food boxes, to serving a meal in a day-shelter, to sprucing up a yard and doing minor home repairs. Each local Day of Service opportunity is scheduled based on the best day for each location.
In 2014, alumni in Boise, Chicago, Honolulu, Oakland, Portland, and Seattle generously donated their time and effort to improve their local communities. Here are some pictures from the day:
