Join University of Portland alumnus and brewmaster Chris Oslin ’81 as we give you the history of brewing and present a hands-on introduction to the fine art of zymurgy. In this two-part class, you will brew your own beer, learn to refine the developing flavors and take home your class “final” to enjoy!

Get your teammates together for a night of trivial fun! The game consists of multiple rounds of questions, each round featuring a different theme. We’ll throw in some UP trivia, video questions, worksheets, and even some math and science! Teams are welcome to bring snacks and non-alcoholic drinks. Teams are limited to 10 people. A dessert buffet is included with the entry fee, and a wine and beer cash bar will be available. $8 per person.

Join the University in celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Salzburg program with a visit to Salzburg Center and a cruise down the Danube River. The 50th Anniversary trip begins with three days in Salzburg where guests will be able to enjoy a tour of the city and two group dinners. On September 11, 2013 guests will have the option of embarking on a week-long cruise of the Danube River beginning in Vienna and ending in Nuremberg.
Join Kirk Mustain, General Manager of Bon Appetit at the University of Portland, for a series of lunches, happy hours, and dinners at some of the most exciting restaurants in Chicago, like Avec, Purple Pig, Blackbird, Sepia, Bistro 110, Bartoma, and Lou Malnati's. Optional day trip offerings will include a visit to the Art Institute of Chicago, the Shedd Aquarium, and an architectural cruise up the Chicago River.
