Bill Schultz resides in Pauma Valley, CA. He retired after owning several medical supply businesses, and is married to Janet (Kelly) Schultz ’65.
A graduate of UP’s AFROTC program, Doug spent 24 years as an Air Force fighter pilot and instructor before beginning his “retirement” career as an airline captain and a corporate chief pilot. Doug and his wife Gwen, also a 1967 UP graduate, have lived in many wonderful locales throughout the US and Europe, but came back to the Portland area in 1991 knowing it was “home.” A fixture at most UP athletic events, Doug looks forward to meeting and greeting fellow alums at events throughout the country.
Julianne Johnson-Weiss is a teacher at Portland Community College. She is a fixture in the Portland music and musical theater scene, and often performs with Michael Allen Harrison. She provided vocal talent on the theme song for the RISE Campaign. Julianne is married to Karl Weiss ’82.
Suzanne Wizer resides in Lake Oswego, OR. She is a Sales Assistant with Wedbush Morgan Securities, and is the daughter of Janet and Eugene Wizer ‘62
Scott Smith is the Educational Manager for The College Board in Chicago, IL. He also has worked for the United Way and was an Admissions Counselor at UP after graduation.
Jason Lesh is Co-founder and Managing Principal at Pilot Wealth Management in Portland, OR. Prior to that he co-founded Nossa Familia Coffee. Jason is the Chair of the National Alumni Board. Jason and his wife Kerri (Johnson) Lesh, ’01 live in NE Portland with their two boys (and future Pilots) Christopher and Aiden.
Maia Nolan is a writer, blogger and third-generation Alaskan. Born in Fairbanks and raised in Anchorage, she lived in the Northeast before returning to Anchorage in 2005. Maia teaches writing at the University of Alaska Anchorage, and she is a 2008 recipient of a Rasmuson Foundation Individual Artist Award. She has been a full time editor at Alaska Dispatch, Alaska’s online news site. As a student at UP, Maia served as the editor-in-chief of The Beacon as well as a RA in Mehling Hall.
Kyle Corra is a Field Sales Finance Manager for Starbucks Corporation in Seattle, WA. He also worked as a financial analyst at NIKE. He was a pitcher with the Pilot Baseball team while a student.
Gina Marie Agosta received her organizational communications degree from University of Portland and is the executive director for Coalition for Kids in Grants Pass, Oregon.
Colton Coughlin is a Civil Design Engineer for Daexell, Barrel & Co. in Boulder, CO. While a student, he was in the ASUP senate.
Katie Scally is a policy analyst at the Office of San Jose Mayor Sam Liccardo in San Jose, CA. She was a member of the ASUP Executive Board while a student, and won the Thomas A. Gerhardt Award for Student Leadership during her senior year.
