Alumni: Pilot Navigator Series: Education & Travel
The Pilot Navigator Series offers unique social, educational, cultural, and travel opportunities to our alumni and friends. Many of our offerings provide an opportunity to participate in the distinguished teaching tradition that has always been a part of the University, expanding the academic experience to include life skills beyond the classroom.
The 2013 Spring edition is out! Upcoming events include:
The Office of Alumni Relations has structured an exciting weekend around the Pilot men's and women's basketball games. Join us for pre-game socials at Brendan's Irish Pub inside the Orleans Arena 90 minutes prior to the start of the each Pilots basketball game of the tournament - men's and women's.
Discounted rooms are available for alumni and friends at the Palms, The Orleans, and the Bellagio Hotel. Contact the Office of Alumni Relations at alumni@up.edu or 503-943-7328 to RSVP for the pregame parties, or to learn more.
Join fellow Pilots and their families and friends across the country to donate time and energy to various charitable causes. Each local alumni group organizes a different volunteer activity, from sorting food boxes, to serving a meal in a day-shelter, to sprucing up a yard and doing minor home repairs. Check the National Alumni Day of Service page for information.
Join University of Portland alumnus and brewmaster Chris Oslin ’81 as we give you the history of brewing and present a hands-on introduction to the fine art of zymurgy.
