Academic Technology Services: Media Services Student Jobs
Media Services Front Desk:
This student position in the Office of Academic Technology Services is the primary point of contact between Media Services and University community. A qualified candidate for this position will have excellent customer service and communication skills. The front desk position also coordinates the deliveries and returns of media equipment during the shift. An intermediate working knowledge of the workings of the classrooms on campus as well as the equipment provided by media services is very critical. A successful candidate will also work closely with both the Media Services Manager and the Media Services Specialists to strive for a high level of customer service satisfaction. This position is between the hours of 7:45 AM and 5:00 PM.
Lead Night Technician:
Help organize the evening deliveries, direct other student workers when the full-time staff is unavailable. Must have a good working knowledge of Media Services Polices and equipment. Assist the Media Services staff in troubleshooting issues in the classrooms, and maintain the media equipment. Must be able to work at least one evening shift (5:00-9 PM) per week.
Event Technician:
This student position in the office of Academic Services Technology provides the primary support for events outside the normal operational hours of Media Services.
Media Services Technician:
Provide support and assistance to students, faculty and staff in the classrooms and in the media services support center, and at onsite locations. Major responsibilities include delivering equipment to classrooms on time and in a competent manner, as well as basic trouble shooting of equipment.
