Campus Ministry: Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (R.C.I.A.)

R.C.I.A. refers to the "Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults" by which students who are interested in learning more about becoming Roman Catholic can explore their questions in the context of our local University community of faith.  Each year students, together with their sponsors, discern how to live more deeply religious and committed lives in Christ by professing their faith and living as baptized Christians confirmed into the communion of the Catholic Church through the Easter sacraments.

• Baptism through full initiation into the Catholic faith through RCIA.  Baptism & confirmation are the sacraments of initiation received at the Easter Vigil Liturgy.
• Full Profession of the Catholic Faith for already baptized adult Christians
