Campus Ministry: Anthony Paz
Anthony Paz was raised amidst the Pacific beaches and the redwood forests of
Eureka, CA. He studied Comparative Religion at Amherst College in Amherst, MA and went on to earn a Masters in Theology from the University of Notre Dame. While at Notre Dame, Anthony was trained specifically in Catechesis and Faith Formation through the Echo Faith Formation Leadership Program
(echo.nd.edu). He has served as a faith formation leader in parishes in Florida and Washington, DC.
He lives in Southwest Portland with his lovely wife, Angela, whom he sat next to in his Mariology class at Notre Dame. Prior to coming to the University of Portland, Anthony worked for the Jesuit Volunteer Corps Northwest in North Portland. Having moved to Oregon at the beginning of the year, he is glad to make a new home in this wonderful city. In his free time, Anthony enjoys brewing beer, gardening, reading, cooking and traveling.
