Campus Ministry: Lectors

Lectors serve as leaders of prayer among the worshipping assembly at Mass, both at Christ the Teacher Chapel and Hall Masses, as they proclaim the Scriptures. This ministry is a testimony to one’s Catholic Faith and is understood as a public witness of faith. In the course of their ministry, many Lectors discover a greater appreciation for the Scriptures and a closer relationship with the Lord.

Training sessions for Lectors take place at the beginning of the fall and spring semesters. A student coordinator assists with the training and ongoing formation of Lectors as well as finding substitutes in scheduling.
