Campus Ministry: Retreat on the Run
COMING LENT 2015
Are you interested in making a retreat but don’t have an entire weekend to give to it?
Would you like to have an experienced spiritual guide to talk with about your prayer life?
Have you ever desired to find space for God in your busy day?
Do you want to pray more?
The Retreat on the Run might be for you!
The Retreat on the Run is made on campus. You maintain your daily commitments while making space for prayer, a one-on-one meeting with a spiritual guide once per week, and an opening and closing group gathering. There is also an optional weekly group prayer you are welcome to attend.
Rather than an intense weekend experience, the Retreat on the Run is a more relaxed retreat experience that stretches over the six weeks of Lent. By inserting prayer into your daily routine and reflecting on that experience weekly with a spiritual guide, you become a more prayerful person and discover the richness of God’s love and presence in the concrete reality of your day. Prayer and God’s presence become part of your day, not something you hope to make time for, some day. It can also be a time to prayerfully discern a decision.
The Retreat on the Run is a great way for busy people to find balance and perspective in their hectic lives.
