Campus Ministry: Vinci Paterson

Assistant Director for Faith Formation

A native Oregonian, Vinci started her career at the University of Portland as a student, receiving a BA in Theology with a Religious Education Certificate in 1985. After completing her degree, she then received her Masters of Divinity at the Franciscan School of Theology in 1989. Vinci has held various roles in parishes in Washington and Oregon, continually contributing to parish life and development as well as religious education and sacramental preparation.

Vinci began her ministry with Campus Ministry in 2003 serving as the director of the R.C.I.A. program, facilitator of a Women’s Spirituality group, and teacher on various round table and panel discussions. She also coordinates the Bible Study and Fish groups, the Lenten Retreat on the Run, and the Guided Silent Retreat.

Vinci, her husband Dino, and son Dylan live near the University.
