Fr. Art Wheeler, C.S.C., is in his 24th year at the University.

During that time he has advised hundreds of students about their majors, careers, and life choices. Known for his unrelenting work habits, Fr. Wheeler is currently Director of Studies Abroad, Assistant to the Provost, Associate Professor of History, Chairman of the Presidential Committee Advisory on Athletics, and Pastoral Resident in Mehling Hall. A native of Bernardsville, New Jersey, with a B.S.F.S. from Georgetown and Ph.D. from Notre Dame, Fr. Wheeler established the University’s programs in London, Morelia, Segovia, Fremantle (Australia), Broome (Australia), Rome, Montreal, and the summer sessions in Salzburg.  He served for ten years as Associate Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences.
