Dear Friends,

Welcome to the University of Portland’s Center for Entrepreneurship.

Wow – we still have a ways to go to dig out of this recession as the most recent Oregon unemployment number hit 12.4%! It’s a good thing we all love entrepreneurship and look for opportunity and excitement in places that others may only see gloom and doom.

As we prepare for the upcoming new academic year, I’d like to highlight two programs that we are currently accepting applications for: 

• Applications for our Graduate Technology Entrepreneurship Certificate program for the September ‘09 cohort are due by July 31.
• E-Scholar Applications for the Fall of 2010 class are also now available and due by October 31, 2009
