Center for Entrepreneurship: $100K Business Plan Competition
The Center for Entrepreneurship hosted the 2012 $100K Challenge, a business plan competition, April 28th in the Buckley Center Auditorium on campus.

Finalists in the for-profit track will be eligible to compete for an investment of up to $100,000 made by the Launch Pad Fund investment committee. Those competing in the non-profit track will be eligible for a $2,500 grant and professional services award.
This year's $100K Challenge will be held on April 27, 2013.

Prizes and Awards:
The top three places from each of two tracks will be announced at the end of the event and will receive a cash award.
Finalists in the for-profit track who plan to develop their business idea will be eligible for an investment of up to $100,000 (half cash and half support services).
Finalists in the non-profit track will be eligible for a $2500 grant and professional services award to assist in the launch or development of the non-profit.
There is also a special $3,000 cash prize from the AARP Foundation for those business ideas that address the needs of low income senior citizens.
