Center for Entrepreneurship: $16K Challenge
The $16K Challenge—a business plan presentation competition for University of Portland students—provides teambuilding, mentorship, education, networking, and capital resources for new venture creation.
Next year’s competition will take place on Saturday, April 17, 2010, in Buckley Center on the University of Portland campus.

$16,000 in prizes was awarded to the 2009 winning teams as follows:
1st Place $5000 cash and in-kind support
2nd Place $4000 cash and in-kind support
3rd Place $3000 cash and in-kind support
Graduate Student Grand Prize $4000 cash and in-kind support
