"I am currently working as an English Language Fellow in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe. I teach Communication 101 to all the first year students in the Faculty of Communication & Information Science at the National University of Science and Technology. In addition I am running a writing center at the university. The English Language Fellow Program is funded by the State Department and administered by Georgetown University. It is a fellowship for teachers who hold at least a masters degree in Applied Linguistics, TESOL, International Education, English or similar degrees and who have experience teaching abroad. The fellowship is in 80 countries where fellows work at universities in various faculties and departments with the goal of developing and supporting English reading, writing and speaking programs. Most fellows teach part of the time and manage projects part of the time. The fellowship lasts 10 months with the opportunity to extend."
