Intl Studies & Global Outreach Collaborative: Objectives

Guided by its mission to promote international awareness, the International Studies and Global Outreach Collaborative has articulated the following objectives, each of which supports the dynamic vision of the Collaborative.

The Collaborative will:

• Provide a website with information on international study, service and research programs on campus.
  
• Promote and publicize seminars by international scholars and leaders.
  
• Encourage teaching, research and service projects that explore international issues.
• Share information to collaborate among teaching, research, and service projects that explore international issues.
  
• Be a resource for the Portland region.
  
• Provide resources to international students, researchers, faculty, and visitors on campus
  
• Promote the development of global competence among faculty, students, and staff so they can experience, learn, and work effectively in our increasingly interdependent world.
