Commencement: Academic Regalia

THE LAST DAY TO ORDER REGALIA FOR SPRING 2013 COMMENCEMENT IS FRIDAY, APRIL 15.

Academic regalia is worn during the Baccalaureate Mass and the Commencement ceremony.

Students

Commencement regalia may be ordered at the Jostens Ordering Event in the Pilot House Lounge February 12-14 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. If you are unable to attend the ordering event, please come into the University Events Office to place your order.

The last day to order regalia, without incurring a late fee, is Friday, March 22.

Regalia may be picked up in the Chiles Center, Hall of Fame Room, May 2-3 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Personalized graduation announcements may be ordered at the UP graduation announcements website, through Jostens.

Faculty

Commencement regalia for faculty may be ordered at the Office of University Events. Ordering forms will be sent out to administrative assistants in the coming months.

Cost Estimate:

Complete master's regalia, $48; hood only, $21

Complete doctorate regalia, $55; hood only, $25

Order late fee: $15

After Commencement, all rented gowns and master's hoods are to be left on indicated tables in the Chiles Center. The tables will be clearly marked and located in the north lobby. Graduates may keep their caps and tassels as souvenirs of the event.
