James Seal is an Associate Professor of Economics at the University of Portland's Pamplin School of Business. Dr. Seal teaches courses in economics and finance in the undergraduate and graduate programs. His areas of interest are mainly macroeconomics and financial institutions. He arrived at the university in 1977 after completing the doctorate at the University of Illinois. His research has been published in Journal of Foreign Exchange and International Finance and Credit and Financial Management Review.
