Pete Rooks is the Director for Leadership in the Franz Center. Also at UP, he served two years as the Executive Director of Leadership and Professional Excellence in the Pamplin School of Business, one year as the Associate Director of Financial Aid, and four years as the Professor of Military Science and Leadership. Pete is a retired U.S. Army Lieutenant Colonel with more than 25 years experience leading diverse teams in the planning and execution of complex operations. He has taught and developed leaders for more than 15 years and is passionate about providing the skills and experience to students needed for the 21st century. Since his retirement from the military, Pete also is a leadership consultant and executive coach. His clients include a local city government, a telecommunications company, and a sport marketing company to mention a few.
