Pete Rooks is the Executive Director, Leadership Programs. Also at UP, he served one year as the Associate Director of Financial Aid and four years as the Professor of Military Science and Leadership. Pete is a retired U.S. Army Lieutenant Colonel with more than 20 years experience leading diverse teams in the planning and execution of complex operations. He has taught and developed leaders for more than 12 years and is passionate about providing the skills and experience to students needed for the 21st century. Since his retirement from the military, Pete also is a leadership consultant and coach. His clients include a city police department, a telecommunications company, and a sport marketing company to mention a few.
