Holocaust Remembrance Day
4:00 p.m., Buckley Center room 163
Holocaust survivor, Miriam Greenstein, will speak in commemoration of Holocaust Remembrance Day. She survived the death camps in Europe before immigrating to Portland to live with an uncle and aunt. Greenstein is the author of "In the Shadow of Death, A Young Girl's Survival in the Holocaust" (2010) and a frequent speaker for the Oregon Holocaust Resource Center. Event is co-sponsored with the Multicultural Programs in Student Activities.

The Impact of Catholic Education in America: Past, Present, and Future
The Garaventa Center's 2013 conference will focus on the history of Catholic Education in America and the conditions, programs and circumstances which have allowed Catholic schools to flourish across the nation. Conference is co-sponsored with the UP School of Education.
