Graduate School: CBEST
Applicants applying to the School of Education's Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) program are required to provide passing test scores on each section of one of the following tests. One may choose to complete either the California Basic Education Skills Test (CBEST) or the PRAXIS I.
One can find more information regarding test sites, dates, fees and registration for the CBEST on their home site. This site also offers a computer-administered practice test program that one can download as well as a paper-based version of the practice test.
