The education of mind and heart

Considering a healthy interior life vital to an individual’s overall health and wellbeing, the Health Center staff provides spiritual counseling and spiritual direction. As people explore questions of meaning and purpose, or seek to examine and understand their faith, it can be helpful to speak with another person. Whether dealing with specific issues, or engaged in ongoing reflection, students are welcome to make use of the spiritual counseling resources of the University Health Center.

Because we value the diverse creeds and various levels of personal experience that touch the life of the University community there is no proselytizing at the Health Center. Staff members work together to provide care that is sensitive to spiritual and ethical issues central to life and health while respecting each individual’s background and belief.
