On January 19, 2012 Bill Reed, Director of University Events, received the Spirit of Holy Cross award conferred by the US Province of Priests and Brothers. Dr. Michael Andrews was also installed in the McNerney-Hanson Endowed Chair in Ethics. Both these events were celebrated in a Mass on the memorial of Blessed Basil Moreau; to read Fr. On July 1, 2011, the Feast of the Sacred Heart, a historic union took place in the Congregation of Holy Cross.  The former Eastern Province merged into the Indiana Province to form the new United States Province of Priests and Brothers.  For more information, please click here.

With joy and thanksgiving, the Congregation of Holy Cross celebrated the canonization of the first saint from the Congregation.  St. Andre Bessette was canonized on October 17, 2010 in Rome.  More information about the canonization may be found here.
