All employees are expected to complete a training period before
beginning their work at the University of Portland. For more

While the University recognizes a five-day work week with hours
generally ranging between 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., certain departments
may require different schedules due to the nature of their work. For

and see the Direct Deposit Authorization Form. In addition, all new employees as well as
employees changing status, address, or legal name must complete an I-9
and other necessary
Employee Identification Cards are issued by the Office of Public Safety
to regular full-time and part-time employees. The ID card is necessary
for cashing checks on campus, using the library, participating in
University programs, and for admittance to certain campus buildings and
facilities. Eligible employees may obtain their card from the Office of Public Safety during regular business hours.
