The Human Resources department works closely with our benefit broker USI and Kaiser Permanente to offer our employees the best possible options for their health care, vision care and dental coverage.
University of Portland makes health insurance benefits available for your married spouse and his or her eligible dependent children. Pursuant to Oregon statutes, we offer this benefit to Oregon registered same-sex domestic partners, and their dependent children.
Employees should be prepared to submit proof of eligibility for their dependents. Examples for establishing proof can be a current tax form listing dependents, official marriage certificate, or an official birth certificate.
