Information Services: Student Employment
The Information Services Division employs students in a variety of roles. The positions listed below are the most common and are filled each year. To view current position openings for all campus jobs, see the Office of Financial Aid's student job listings page.
| Information Systems Internship (Level IV) - Responsible for database support including programming, coding, documentation, training, etc. Includes some summer work. |
| Network/Telecom Field Technician (Level III) - Responsible for diagramming the network.Also, as time permits, responsible for on-site response and diagnosis of network/telecom issues; repairs; new installations; maintenance; etc. |

Laboratory Assistant -(Level II) -
Responsible for laboratory operations including answering student questions regarding lab procedures and software; cleaning monitors and keyboards; filling printers with paper; opening and closing the lab; keeping lab clean; reporting broken and/or missing equipment; etc. |

Laboratory Assistant -(Level III) -
Responsible for laboratory operations including answering student questions regarding lab procedures and software; cleaning monitors and keyboards; filling printers with paper; opening and closing the lab; keeping lab clean; reporting broken and/or missing equipment; etc. |
| Residential Computer Consultant (RCC) - Off-Campus Liaison (Level IV) - Responsible for providing telephone computer support to off-campus residents including connecting computers to the network; troubleshooting standard and non-standard software; resolving computer viruses and installing anti-virus software; etc. Also responsible for providing support to on-campus RCC's as needed. |
| Residential Computer Consultant (RCC)(Level III) - Responsible for providing front-line, on-site computer support to campus residents including connecting computers to the network; troubleshooting standard and non-standard software; resolving computer viruses and installing anti-virus software; managing the dormitory computer clusters; etc. |
| Media Dispatcher (Level III) - Manages media technicians responsible for audio-visual equipment including check out and check in; maintenance; equipment checks; organization; dispatch; delivery; retrieval; set-up; inventory; trouble-shooting; etc. |
| Media Technician (Level II) - Responsible for audio-visual equipment including check out and check in; maintenance; equipment checks; organization; dispatch; delivery; retrieval; set-up; inventory; trouble-shooting; etc. |
| Front Desk Assistant (Level II) - Responsible for assisting faculty and staff with media services and help desk functions including new accounts; equipment reservations; training; computer problems; etc. |
| Web Content Support Assistant (Level II) - Responsible for web content support including cleaning, cropping, justifying, focusing, optimizing, resizing, and embedding of web graphics/images; content editing for grammar, spelling, and clarity; site reviews for relevance, professionalism, purpose, and intent; creating higher level graphics and images; and data entry for high level content/general portal content. |
| Web Development Assistant (Level II) - Responsible for assisting the Web Application Developer and Web Portal Specialist including code/application documentation; application testing for efficiency and security using industry standards; application testing for efficiency and security using industry standards; application testing on different browsers and platforms; and application database population and cleaning. |
