International Student Services: Financial Resources

The University of Portland awards several international student scholarships to incoming and current international students. Undergraduate students can receive up to $12,000 per academic year, and graduate students can receive up to $7,000 per academic year. The average award for new incoming students is $4,000 - $6,000 per academic year. To be eligible for the international student scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Be a citizen and resident of a country (or countries) other than the United States
• Be an incoming or current UP student
• Demonstrate a strong academic record (incoming students) or maintain a minimum 2.0 grade point average (current students)
• Complete the International Student Scholarship application

Application deadlines are November 15 for spring semester and May 1 for fall semester.
