International Student Services: On-Campus Housing
There are eight dormitories or residence halls on UP campus. To learn more about the different residence halls please visit the Residence Life website. Our office recommends that new undergraduate students live on campus. New students have found this is the best way to meet people and make new friends here at the University. If you would like to talk or email a current student living on campus to ask them advice or questions about living on campus please email the Office of International Student Services at iss@up.edu.

Two important parts of the Residence Hall contract which students need to be aware of are listed below:
- Housing contracts signed before fall semester are contracts which apply to the entire academic year. It is important to understand that release from this contract is only granted under special circumstances. However if you begin your housing contract in January this contract applies to spring semester only.
- The residence halls are closed for winter break which is a four week period between fall and spring semesters in late December and early January. Housing during this time is only offered to students with special circumstances.
