Remember that someone else is counting on you

• Be late or absent as little as possible

• Arrive on time

• Call before you are expected if you’re going to be late

• Give advance notice if you can’t make it to work

• Keep a copy of your schedule

• Plan ahead for necessary schedule changes

Remember your priorities

• Job responsibilities always come first

• Ask if studying is OK once your work is done and you've been given permission by your supervisor

• Save web surfing and personal email for another time

• Turn off your cell phone while at work

 Communication is key

• Make sure you know what’s expected of you

• Ask what you can do to help

• Never assume… always ask   

 Behave professionally

• Safety first… always!

• Dress conservatively and ask about standards

Keep official information confidential

• Never repeat personal details you may have access to

• Let what you hear and see at the office stay at the office

 Help make it a great place to work

• Keep a positive attitude

• Greet everybody openly

• Smile when on the phone

• Contribute to the team spirit

• Share ideas you think might help improve the workplace
