Mailing Services: Mail Stop Codes
MSC stands for Mail Stop Code—or what used to be called a box number. MSC are required to send mail to faculty, staff, and administrators at the University. Mail Stop Codes are required on both internal/intra-campus and external mail. Each department has its own Mail Stop Code. (Faculty and staff do not have their own Mail Stop Code unless they have their own mail box at the Mail Center.)
