Presidential Advisory Committees: Sustainability
The principle of sustainability requires us to meet the environmental, social and economic needs of present generations without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs. The sustainability committee advises the president on matters relating to the long run impact of the University and its members on the environment, the community, and the economy. This includes monitoring progress on specific sustainability goals such as climate neutrality, making recommendations for the improvement of services and facilities, and facilitating and supporting sustainability education efforts.
