Physical Plant: Safety

The Physical Plant is highly committed to providing a safe and healthy workplace for our team members.  The Physical Plant complies with all applicable requirements issued by federal and state regulatory agencies (e.g., OSHA, EPA, and DEQ), and implements site-specific safety and health procedures.  Management and all employees working at the Physical Plant share the responsibility for the success of these safety and health procedures.

Our objective is to reduce or eliminate work-related disabling injuries and illnesses.  It is the policy of this department to exercise all precautions necessary to protect its members and those in the work area from accidents in the workplace, which we firmly believe are preventable. 

Safety is paramount and part of every work or project effort - from the planning stage through completion.
