Ah, sweet mad cow of youthThey march from Villa Maria to Merlo Field and sprint into the stands and start drumming and chanting and roaring the whole game, which is crazy and vastly entertaining. They are the Villa drum squad, which, for the win against Wisconsin, suddenly featured a bull, and they have enlivened Pilot soccer games for years, and the sweet Lord alone knows what other teams think of all our noise and laughter. We note that the Pilots have won more than 90% of their home games, though. Coincidence?
