Renowned Cambridge University professor to give lecture Sept. 25
Morrill, who teaches English and Irish History at Cambridge, focuses his research on the early modern historical period of dungeon, fire and sword. A leading historian, Morrill examines the legacies and religious psychology of leaders of the period. Most notably, Morrill has examined English military and political leader Oliver Cromwell and published a 2007 biography Oliver Cromwell.
