Poet Lilah Hegnauer '04 to read from her work at the University of Portland on March 31
Hegnauer, a 2004 graduate of the University of Portland, is the author of two books of poetry: Pantry, winner of the 2013 New Southern Voices Poetry Prize, and Dark Under Kiganda Stars. She holds a master of fine arts from the University of Virginia and teaches at James Madison University and the University of Virginia. She is the 2014 recipient of the Amy Clampitt Residency in Lenox, Massachusetts. Her work has appeared in Beloit Poetry Journal, The Kenyon Review, FIELD, and other publications.
