Registrar: Graduation

You should file an application for graduation with the registrar’s office during the semester prior to the semester in which you will complete all requirements for your degree. Failure to file by the deadline may jeopardize your anticipated graduation date.

Application Deadlines

Last day to apply for Spring 2010 graduation:
    Monday, November 2, 2009

Last day to apply for Summer 2010 graduation:
    Monday, February 1, 2010

Last day to apply for Fall 2010 graduation:
    Thursday, April 1, 2010

In order to be eligible to graduate, you must complete all course work at the University of Portland by the last day of the semester, and complete any/all graduation deficiencies such as incomplete removals and acceptance of transfer credits by April 29, 2010 for Spring 2010 graduation, by August 6, 2010 for Summer 2010 graduation and by December 16, 2010 for Fall 2010 graduation. The final responsibility for completing all requirements for a degree rests with the student.
