Registrar: Schedule Submission

All course schedules for the subsequent fall and spring semesters are due in the registrar’s office the Friday of the first week of February. Course schedules are to be submitted on the Schedule Submission form. We recently updated this form. The following has changed:

1. We have removed Cap from the Cap/Max column.  This will eliminate some confusion as we cannot enter the cap & max in Banner at the same time.  Please just list your max for the section, as we need this number for room assignment purposes.  If you need a lower cap for Advanced Registration, we will ask for this a week before registration starts.
2. We have removed the Cross list Total column.  We will manually add the totals between each section of the cross list.  Please just list the course subject & number that should be cross listed with another section in the Cross list Course column.  Even if your cross list is within your department (i.e. undergrad/grad courses), we need this information entered.
3. We have added a Classroom Type column.  Please enter information in this column ONLY if you need a lab, computer classroom or no classroom for the course.  Please enter one of the following terms: lab, computer or none.
4. We have changed the Restriction column to Special Approvals.  This is to align our terminology with that of Banner.  This is directly associated with the individual sections.  We can place a special approval on the section to require one of the following signatures: Instructor, Department Chair, Program Director, Honors Program Director, or Program Specialist.  Restrictions are at the catalog level and are already associated with each section that is created.
5. Instructor column ID or Full Name.  Please provide the instructor’s Banner ID number or full name.  This will help ensure the correct instructor is assigned to the course

Standard Class Times must be used.  Note: we have removed the 1 day evening times of 1710-1955 & 1810-2055.
