Registrar: Midterm Grades

Beginning Fall 2010, instructors are required to give a midterm grade to each student in 100 and 200 level courses at the mid-point of each semester.  These grades are entered in the student's record but they do not become a part of the academic history that appears on their transcript.

For upper division courses, instructors should provide either midterm grades for the entire class or give a written academic warning to each student that is failing or near failing.  A copy of the academic warning should be turned in to the Office of the Registrar. 

Midterm grades and academic warnings for Spring 2013 are due by March 8, 2013.

The online midterm grading for Spring 2013 will open February 25, 2013.
