Jump Start Your Job Search (March 22nd)

...How do you begin looking for jobs in the US?
...Does the thought of looking for work as an international student seem intimidating?

Then you need to come to Jump Start Your Job Search on Friday, March 22 from 11:30-1:00pm. Bring your lunch and get your questions answered!

We will focus on looking for work as an international student. You’ll learn how you can "sell" your strengths to potential employee to maximize your international status. Advantages and disadvantages of getting a job with as an international student will also be covered.

This event will feature Amy Cavanaugh from the Career Services. An international student alumni who now works in the US will also share their experience.

Join us Friday, March 22nd from 11:30 –1:00 at the International Students Service located in Christie Basement.

After the talk by Amy Cavanaugh, there will be a question and answer section with Krista Kennedy, the assistant director of the International Students Service about how to use OPT (F1), CPT (F1), and Academic Training (J1) to your best advantage.
