University of Portland Wind Symphony and Women’s Chorale concert to be held 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 2

The University of Portland Wind Symphony and Women’s Chorale will perform Sunday, Dec. 2 on campus, 5000 N. Willamette Blvd. The concert, set for Buckley Center Auditorium at 3 p.m., is free and open to the public.

The Wind Symphony and Women’s Chorale will perform its “Music for a Winter’s Afternoon” concert with a variety of works. The Wind Symphony will perform a transcription of Carl Orff’s epic Carmina Burana and team with the Women’s Chorale for Ára Bátur, originally written and performed by the Icelandic band Sigur Rós.
