He holds a master’s degree in student affairs administration in higher education from Ball State University, and a bachelor’s degree in business and marketing secondary education from the University of Wisconsin at Whitewater.
In his former position at Notre Dame, Haug co-chaired STAR-ND, the student affairs division’s professional development committee, and served as state coordinator for the Association of Student Conduct Administration (ASCA). He and his wife, Debi, have two sons, Joshua and Samuel.
The University’s residence life office coordinates housing for over 1,900 members of the UP student, staff, and faculty community in seven traditional residence halls, two apartment style halls for upper-class students, and over 40 university owned off-campus houses.
