Time Limit on Subsidized Stafford Loans

Starting July 1, 2013, new borrowers will have a limit on the length of time they may receive the interest subsidy on Direct Subsidized Stafford Loans. The limt is 150% of the published length of the student's program. For most students at the University of Portland, that will be 6 years, although the actual limit could vary based on program and student type.
