Fourth annual Global ADE fundraising dinner and auction will take place on Saturday, March 29

The fourth annual Global ADE fundraising dinner and auction to support education in Cambodia will take place on Saturday, March 29, from 6 to 9 p.m. in the Bauccio Commons Terrace Room on the University campus, 5000 N. Willamette Blvd. The dinner and auction are open to the public.

Tickets cost $50 for an individual and $400 for a table of eight, and can be purchase online here. 100 percent of donations from this event go to support Global ADE's work in Cambodia.

Founded by University of Portland alumni Kenny King and Kurt Berning, Global ADE is a 501(c)3 registered non-profit organization that partners with organizations in rural Cambodia to give students the opportunity to pursue a quality education. 

With the money that has been raised from the last three years of fundraising dinners and auctions, Global ADE has been able to fund scholarships for over 100 students, have built a school and paid for all operating expenses of the school, and have funded an English program at the Kurata school. For more details on each program, please see our website:

Global ADE believes that education is the key to improving livelihoods for young people living in poverty across the world. It works with local, community-based organizations in Cambodia to promote education, and invites all to join in its work to change the lives of these children and end their cycle of poverty.
