University of Portland presents the play Cymbeline, set for Mago Hunt Center Theater April 9 – 13

William Shakespeare’s Cymbeline will be performed April 9 – 13 in the Mago Hunt Center Theater on the University of Portland campus, 5000 N. Willamette Blvd. All performances are at 7:30 p.m., except the Sunday, April 13 performance, which is at 2 p.m. Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for students and seniors. Cymbeline is a fun-filled and suspenseful romance filled with characters who plot, lie, and don disguises. Some lose their faith, some lose their wits, and one his head. Questions arise during the play – will the two young lovers ever be together or will the evil schemers’ plans win out? And will all this craziness make some sense in the end?

The cast, all University of Portland students, is Savannah Collas (1st Lord), Sara Falaro (2nd Lord), Emily Clare Biggs (Queen/Juno), Matthew Sepeda (Posthumus), Jordin Bradley (Innogen), Shen Telles (Cymbeline/Mother), Michael Hall (Pisanio), Amy Billroth-MacLurg (Cloten/Gaoler), Clarke Orr (Jachimo), Tyler Hunt (Belarius/Philario), Noel Oishi (Cornelius), Jeffrey Phillips (Lucius), Kristen Schmidt (Guiderius/Helen), Abby Neirunck (Arvigarus), Tanis Gonzaga (Captain), Josie Benedetti (Soothsayer).
