University of Portland Orchestra to perform concert on Tuesday, April 22

University of Portland’s Orchestra will perform in concert on Tuesday, April 22, at 7:30 p.m., in Buckley Center Auditorium on the University campus at 5000 N. Willamette Blvd. The concert is free and open to the public.

The Orchestra will perform two of the most famous musical depictions of Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet. The two masterworks range from the drama and lush romanticism of Tchaikovsky to the restless, jazz-tinged energy of Bernstein.
